After untold years of absence, I'm revisiting my user profile and noticed that it contains my old email address (now updated). I'm sorry if anyone wrote and never received a reply. I assure you it was my negligence, not any arrogance or lack of appreciation for your interest. / Attentive readers will notice that at one point I started adding "blurbs", written in prose, to the end of my poems. Why? Sometimes they explain where a poem came from: the inspiration; the circuitous way my brain connects the dots. Sometimes they elaborate on some of the ideas in a more comprehensive and linear way: something prose does so much better than poetry. And sometimes they're a little more technical, talking about process and style and the poetic choices I made.
